10 Tips on How to Improve Your Roblox Arsenal Skills

I've been playing FPS games since 2002 (it started with Battlefield 1942) so I had a lot of experience in my backpack going in to Roblox Arsenal when my 9 year old son introduced it to me. 

Him (and his friends) quickly became frustrated with me when I demolished them from the start and often won game after game. After 6 months of gaming Arsenal I shared a couple of pointers with my son and his skills went from 5/10 to 9/10 almost overnight. I'd like to share these pointers and tips with you as well and maybe there's something in here you didn't know about. 

1. Change The Color of Your Crosshair 

The default color easily blends with the surroundings and when moving around a lot and doing 360s it's easy to lose track of it. I suggest using a strong color such as red to make it stand out more.

2.  Never Ever Stand Still And Don't Run In a Straight Line 

I see this a lot with beginners and you're just going to get killed instantly. By moving around in an unpredictable pattern it's going to be hard for the more advanced players to read your next step. Get to know the controls fluently and learn how to strafe. This applies to all FPS games out there and it's not unique to Roblox Arsenal. Master it. 

3. Getting Rid of The Sniper Rifles 

I'm just going to say this; It's ok to camp with a sniper rifle because that's what snipers do in real life.

Having a sniper rifle is a huge disadvantage in Arsenal because of the small maps and close combat so try to get in on the action of your teammate's targets from a distance. You might not get the kill but if you get a hit it's enough to spawn a better weapon. Don't be that guy who runs around trying to do close combat with a sniper rifle. You're only going to give away easy points and kills to the more experienced players. 

4. Pick Up The Loot 

If you win over an opponent and you get damaged in the process don't simply run towards your next opponent without picking up his drop first. Much like #2, run and strafe sideways towards the drop at the same time you're looking at the direction of where the enemies are coming from. This way you've increased your chances of winning the next shoot-out. You have to understand, every time you die you're giving a player more points to secure the win and we don't want that.

5. Big Gun, Running In Slow Motion!

You're going to be an easy target with the machine gun and sniper rifles because of your slow movement speed. You can avoid this by selecting your knife from your inventory and run around with that until you're closer to where you want to be. Learn to switch between these two weapons fluently and you'll not become an easy target for the much much quicker golden knife carrier. Also, running and jumping with the knife in hand will improve speed even further. 

6. Always Aim For a Headshot

Now this is tricky and requires a lot of practice but it can be done to a point were it happens often.

A headshot is a headshot, your opponent will go down immediately with one hit and you've got an entire clip to spray his way so there's a huge chance it will hit. If you're going for the torso or even lower than that it will require 3-8 hits (depending on the weapon) for that opponent to go down. Learn how to position your aim in a straight horizontal line around head-height at all times and after some time it will feel more natural to do so. Furthermore, this applies to most FPS games out there and not only Arsenal. 

7. Launch Yourself Into The Air

Some of the weapons will allow you to jump high up in the air. You do this by looking towards the ground and press the spacebar to jump and then you press the fire button. You'll receive minimal damage by doing this but the benefits can be great. You'll get an overview of the map and your opponents from the air without most of them knowing you're there. It can also be an effective way of escaping multiple opponents by yourself by getting out of dodge and repositioning yourself. 

The guns with the air abilities are:

Double Barrel Shotgun (Shoot twice for extra air)

DBS (Shoot twice for extra air)

Concussion Rifle

Rocket Launcher

Firework Launcher

Razor Bomb (looks like a Boomerang)

8. Learn The Maps And All The Spawn Points

Once mastered you'll have a great advantage over the newer guys just starting out with Arsenal. All the spawn points are fixed and you'll get to know them all by grinding maps over and over again. Now you can simply wait nearby with a horrible gun or the golden knife and take them out from the back or aim directly at the spawn point from a distance to take out multiple targets over and over again. 

9. Golden Gun

You only have 2 shots to make it or it will switch over to the basic knife and that's all you have. 

By following #4 you can pick up ammo crates and it will give you one extra shot each time but you'll have to reload it for every single shot and it can be tedious work. In order to avoid getting shot you can simply let your teammates do all the hard work while you're close by waiting for crates and another opportunity to fire your gun.  

10. Golden Knife

Feel the heartbeat and stress creeping up! Now what? Play it cool by staying in the shadows as much as you can. Knowing all the spawn points you have a slight advantage over the newer players just getting into Arsenal - They're there for your picking. You can wait close by their spawn point and let them pass you before running in from behind or; find your pray from higher grounds just by waiting for them and let them pass slightly before you jump down and go for that backstab. If you feel you waited too long and you can't catch up you can jump whilst running to gain more speed in order to catch up from behind.

Remember, it's quite pointless to stab from the front as it makes minimal damage. You'll have to stab 4-5 times in order for that to work and no one is going to let you do that without emptying their clip in your face first.
